my body
is broken
"it's just part of ageing", "you're getting old".
if this is what you're hearing and telling yourself, the good news is, it's not true.
no, i'm not selling immortality. it's true we are getting older.
what is not true is that the nagging symptoms we feel - headaches, bloating, random eye twitches,
being unable to sleep at night, chest tightness, erratic periods - are part and parcel of getting older.
these are not symptoms we should be experiencing as we age.
they are symptoms of an entirely different problem.
i don't know what to do
our bodies are wonderfully complex.
so when we get an eye twitch, bloated tummy or headache, and we try to force one remedy on it, our bodies may or may not respond to it.
sometimes, the answer may be as simple as starting a new habit, or tweaking a diet.
i know, because i've spent many years with different ailments, tweaking and refining, and now, finally managing them.
if you're ready to start tweaking your diet and habits
i was a sickly kid
constant tummy aches, nose bleeds, getting fevers, cough, colds every month: this was the norm for me growing up. especially the tummy aches, which got worse after drinking milk.
and an 'unhealthy' adult
i was still sick alot as an adult - perhaps every other month. and many months, i'll force myself to go to work while being sick.
somewhere along the way, i developed extremely itchy, swollen, pus-filled eyes, and gluten + dairy intolerance.
learning TCM saved me
i was already in my late 30s,
eating a very restrictive diet for 3 years: no chilli, no pepper, no fried, no biscuits, no chocolate, no gluten, no dairy.
it was nearly impossible to eat out. i was cooking most of my meals, and could only meet friends for drinks.
i was sick of it. i decided to help myself.
i signed up for a 2-year TCM Assistant Course. it was a huge commitment, but i was committing to my health. committing to a future where i had the freedom to travel and try new food.
it wasn't the easiest, but i enjoyed it.
every week, i added new knowledge to my arsenal of tools to help myself.
every week, i tweaked my diet, habits, added new herbs to my food, tried new methods of healing.
i started learning TCM at 38. i'm now 40, and my health has improved exponentially.
my eyes no longer itch and swell up, my tummy aches have significantly reduced, i hardly fall sick, i've more energy than i had in my early 30s.
my health is not perfect. i'm not perfect. there are days i overindulge on desserts, and my tummy ache comes back.
but i know how to manage my symptoms now. i know why they happen. i know what to do to help myself.
i've given myself freedom over my life, and control over my own health.
that is what i want for you.

Service title 2
maybe you've been on pills and supplements to suppress your symptoms, and you're sick of taking them.
or worse still, they've stopped working.
it's time to try something different.
something natural.
something that flows with the rhythm of the day, the cycles of the seasons.
there's a misconception that TCM is about smelly herbs and painful adjustments.
the essence of TCM is doing specific activities at certain time periods of the day, eating produce from each season, understanding the interconnectedness of our organs, and finding balance.
and that is the lens we use to understand the symptoms our bodies are showing us, to adjust our habits and diet to suit our bodies.

in my workshops
i empower you with the knowledge to understand the symptoms
and help yourself.
you're no longer at the mercy of your symptoms, or your pills/supplements.
